I believe we can. A certain kind of love can be achieved before actually meeting. I believe once you meet, the love will either deepen, grow and flourish or could actually fizzle.
There's many different kinds of love. Love for your siblings, your parents, your friends, your pet, and your partner. All in different intensities and to different degrees.
May we all find the love we are looking for.

All things are most likely possible, so there would be things about everyone to love. There are aspects of their character to love, such as their humour, or stoicism, honesty, earnestness, tenacity etc.
Meeting someone can happen in many way too. When people talk, or use webcams, theya re communicating just as they would in RL, just at a distance of miles/kilometers.
When people type, it is no idfferent to when people wrote letters years ago and grew to love things about each other.
I am going to leave God out of this because most people relationship with their God is one of subservience and pleading rather than the two way street of love. To explain it better I will ask the question, "what do you do for God?" (that is not motivated by self interest).

I think the TRUE LOVE part comes when you actually get to spend some time together without a computer screen between you. JMO.
