One of the locations claimed to be the Geographic Center of the Contiguous (or Conterminous) United States is pinpointed by a historical marker that is located within a small park near the town of Lebanon, Kansas. There is generally an American flag flying on the pole placed on top of the monument. Just to the south of the monument, yards away, exists a covered picnic area and small four-pew chapel where a couple can take wedding vows if they wish. or renew in many cases...
woodzchick: MY HOUSE! Bring your campers. I've got plenty of room outside. You can use my bathrooms and kitchen and we can just go with the flow for the rest!
I live a mile off the road in the woods, and NOBODY will bother you!

USThumper: Can I drive to there?
there were some Cubans who drove a Chevy pickup to Miami not too long ago. That was the coolest thing I had seen in a while. Unfortunately, the coast guard sank the truck.

TJ,
Ya know, I tried to vote for Spring time in the South, but I could only vote for the season, or the place, and once I voted for one or the other, then the vote was closed. So I think the results are skewed (screwed ?) a little.
But I vote for Nashville in the Spring, because the coastal cities are expensive, and Nashville is somewhat centered and lots to do.

We could all get together at the campground at Dollywood in Pidgon Forge. Pretty country and lots to do.
I would almost think having it SOON, Before many are boarded up for winter....Before winter would Be Great, I Think!
Even if I lived im Florida, or California, Central Seems most logical, and I do agree with the Man that said those Coastal towns, being EXPENSIVE, for Many as we are Not all Rich!!
Besides the main things we are Considering this for, IS TO MEET Eachother... (THAT is The Leading Factor), and would want probably a Relaxed Atmosphere, not Chasing Drinks arround From Bart To Bar, or Alot of Outside interferance, as would be Found In Bigger Citys....More of a Place that would SEPARATE us from the Daily Hustle and Bustle, trains busses Cars, A Country Setting in My Opinion, Or It will turn Into Expensive Chaos

Sounds like a good place! Love Virginia in the Fall!
