My mother keeps up with the the chemical the Chines use in making rubber and plastics. It seems that other countries have banned certain chemicals in the products they sell from China. Here in America the items are sold as is in spite of the knowledge that these chemicals are deadly over time. The biggest problem seems to be with baby products. We buy what we think is the best for our children and in doing so we are putting poison in their bodies.

Made in China is one thing. Which company name is on the label? (i.e. who put in the order? and the specifications?).

Is it still a chinese product if it is ordered by a company from another country?

My parents bought a vacuum cleaner "SAMSUNC" a week ago, considering it a product of a known brand, but when I looked at it, the last letter C reminded G slightly, so I want to say, it is getting rather difficult to differ the fake. Do you remember a milk scandal at the begining of this year, thousands of children suffered from it and about 15 died. How I miss products with the words "Made in USSR" they were really reliable

Melamine was a serious problem here in asia and elsewhere as you undoubtedly know.It was used in the manufacturing of baby foods,candies and as a dairy additive in food production.I was unknowingly comsuming it over a long period of time in the baked goods I regularly bought from the bakery department of my local supermarket here.Chinese products are,as you would expect,widely sold here and constitute a large percentage of the food products available.I ultimately developed kidney stones,which were very painful and debilitating.The long term effects of the poisoning on my entire system is unknown and now I have kidney problems.Here in Taiwan,it's common for a lot of people to choose a product made here over one from China.The idea being that it would of "Poor Quality" if made in China.It may surprise you to hear that I don't believe that all China's products are inferior,but poor quality control and manipulation of the regulatory system is rampant.Those responsible for this were fined,imprisoned and executed.

If you want great goods......pay more and you will find them made in China also. If you want cheap stuff....pay very little and you will find them made in China. They will make what you want at the price range you want. On the world market the country with the worst products for the money is....the United States! Sad but true! At least that is what the trades did say as of 4-5 years ago.

must of there products are under priced. mostly to sell in the usa . example walmart. just about everything you buy in walmart comes from china.but we need to impose a tax to make sure American companies can compete with china.
