it was probably a very long time ago,so maybe you cant remember! has it pride of place in your collection,or,looking back on it now,was it not so good?!
Oh, wow, so looong ago. Most of my records were hand-me-downs from my older sister, but if memory serves, the first record (album) I bought was Bill Cosby's one about him and his brother Russell. The one with the story about the Chicken Heart. He was so funny! *And still is!

A seven single - I can't remember the exact year - early sixties.
Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman.
Played it on a plastic record player (a green one!), the size of an old fashioned little school case.
Got my very own little transistor radio a year or so later. Used to sleep with it playing next to my head on the pillow - softly, but I would wake up whenever "I want to hold your hand played"
Magic - the pre-teen and teen years in the sixties.

No but probably shoplifted it and never actually bought it.
