If one believes in the vast capacity of the human mind which has been used very minimally , the existence of a soul/spirit , the presence of phenomena little or barely understood .... it leaves open a large space for innumerable possibilities ...
Have you had any such experience ? personal or with someone known to you ?
Do you believe its real or true ?

hmm...
It just too fascinatin to me .. have read a lot on most of them but stick to the idea that i know not enough so maybe there is something which is unexplained yet true ..

I used to be fascinated with it, but my belief system changed & I started making excuses for the things I saw, but slowly my mind is changing again.........
Every day there seems to be a new reason to look further into it again

I agree.... and I too believe that the human mind if its was capable to use it's full extent... we would see things in a different way...
When I lived in the UK... I do believe that my home was haunted.... initially I felt that it was a bad spirit... things going bump in the night etc, etc... for no clear reason...
This may sound crazy but one night I started to talk to the spirit... I believe she was the owner of my property....she passed away in the property (formally a shop)
when I purchased the property and converted it into a family home... I beleive I may have upset the spirit with the way I had changed things....
I asked her if we could all just live together peacefully... as my Daughter would wake up in the middle of the night crying... which I thought was just nightmares.
After a few nights the bumps and bangs ceased.
I would check on my daughter in her room.... and she would be talking to someone and pointing to someone... I couldn't see anyone.
My wife at the time said that she has seen this lady in the Kitchen... in the hallway, my daughters room and walking to my son's room, passing through our room to the dressing room.....
I was freaked out by all of this.....
back to the point I do believe in the other side... I think as humans we do have the untapped capacity to see spirits, to use ESP....

Last year was quite an eye opener for me in that I went to a clairvoyant with a friend, she really felt she needed to go and I was just curious so went along - all I can say is that for a stranger she sure knew a lot about the people I have lost in my life and the £20 she was paid was surely not enough to do the research that would have been involved to do a background check, not that it would have shown half of what she came up with - very strange. The odds of her knowing anybody I know are also slim as this isnt my home town.
The other incident of last year is a photograph I took over a cemetary. I noticed some very strange circles and at first thought it may be due to the fact that I took the series of about six pictures from inside a car but - the window was open and I was leaning out and for one or two I was outside the car. The circles look like rain drops or condensation on the lens but none of the other pictures I took that evening have these markings - I was later told these 'orbs' are common in photographs around cemetaries - you figure, I cant

My wife and I divorced.......I do believe that the property did change me and change my wife....I cannot explain how or prove it.
what I do know is I am a better person now.... than 18mths ago...

The clairvoyant thing is quite intriguing. Some people do give exact details of our lives .. no clue how though.
My mother once upon a time when she wasnt conceiving had been to one such lady who claimed divine influence.. by a particular female deity. The lady told my mother to complete certain rituals which she had failed to after her marriage and go back home and all will be fine. At that point my mother had already been diagnosed for unexplained sec. infertility ... so she did as she was told and surprisingly things fell in place in no time.
The orbs thing i have been reding offlate.. didnt know before. But does seem strange.

My friend's relative .. this gentleman does homecleansing rituals .. that is if someone feels negative energy or influences in their space. Off late i believe he had been to this particular home wherein therewas a terribly eerie feeling. The family wasnt at peace at all. He was unable to light a fire with a matchstick that too.. for the ritual for a very long time .. he was almost convinced there is something out there at the end of the day.

wow........ that's why I strive to remain a positive person.... I believe I am a very good judge of character...
I know many people who claim to see peoples aura's.... I have been told on several occassions that mine is Purple....

This reminds me .. the place where i live .. the temple backyard is an openspace .. ermm the temple is on a road opp to a cemetery. In the backyard there is a tree which no one ever goes close to . Apparently when people have been around the place in the night they have been beaten up .. goes without saying by someone invisible.

There is a theory that time is multidimentional, existing on a multitude of planes at the same given moment..... sort of a layered sandwich. The theory, as it were, suggests that there is no past nor future....only now.... the begining and the end all existing at the same moment. The theory suggests that paranormal activity is merely fissures in the time continuum........ its all conjecture of course.... but interesting nonetheless....

I've posted about this before... The family home I grew up in had a presence, fortunately for us it was not a hostile presence but a very mischievous one, things disappearing and reappearing, doors opening and closing, not just moving but the handles actually turning, sounds of furniture being moved, but nothing moved. We named him Alfi and I honestly felt safer in the house when I was alone when I could feel his presence.
I also had a very strange experience when I lost control of my car on some black ice. Everything went into slow motion and I was viewing it from above, I don't remember taking any corrective action but was able to bring the car to a stop at the side of the road. One minute I was seeing the car, the road, and the surroundings and the next minute I was sitting behind the wheel again.
