Well baseball, American Fottball are not really played outside of the USA, except maybe cuba (ironically) Canada to some extent and maybe japan. Baseball was a french game for girls. American football was an english game called rugby and basketball was invented by a canadian.
The British invented most sports but we were crap at them so we kept inventing new ones

We have an Australian Baseball League & thats now tied in with the different franchises in the USA, with each team in Australia being alligned with a major league team & thats getting a strong following of about 5000 to most matches ( the first season in 10 years) , we have an american football league in South Australia consisting of 8 teams now & 8 teams from the USA sponsored it & supplied uniforms etc & assistance with coaching. Thats going well & looks like being 12 teams in the next 2 years. We also a Ice Hockey League which gets very good support & media support also

Never gonna compete on a world level with soccer though. Aussi rules is a good honest sport I like to watch

No totally agree with you elsson, soccer ( fotball) is overtaking Aussie Rules as the most popular sport which young children. I feel thats because if they are good enough they can see themselves playing in Europe & hopefully for a large club.
Where as Aussie Rules is only played at a professional level in Australia.
