This was a 4 day event with camping at the site, Rick Springfield took direct hits from the ladies in the audience with bras and panties lol. Downchild Blues Band's 40 anniversary concert at Massey Hall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. An awesome local blues band that is the group that the Blues Brothers were fashioned after. Dan Akroyd (as Elwood Blues) mc'd the show and it was amazing. Prior to that it was Gordon Lightfoot...Merle Haggard...the Neville Brothers (with Aaron Neville)...Eric Clapton (cradle to the grave tour). I enjoy some really excellent music dvd's of the Eagles (Hell Freezes Over), James Taylor (pull over), Bonnie Raitt (road tested) and a myriad of other fabulous musicians and singer songwriters. As great as it is to see them live it is just as entertaining to sit in your own home (less crowded and ultimately more comfortable)and enjoy the concert on a good sound system.
my last concert as such was crosby nash & stills, fantastic, and of course Pavement.... excellent, nice to know we get some very cool bands over here. (Little dot on the landscape)

My last areana condert was in 2006 when I saw The Who.I saw Jon Anderson at this 1000 seat areana with the Paul Green school of rock with students from 13 to 17.They played Yes music with Jon singing. The kids were excellent. There is 3 places within 20 minutes where I live that has free concerts during the summer.
Last concert i saw was John Legend, here in Jakarta.. He sounds amazing, its like effortless.. Am going fo Pitbull's concert in May, it's gonna be hawt hawt hawt..
but best one i've been to was the Black Eyed Peas! So energetic, everyone keep dancing and singing throughout the whole concert.. It was brilliant and extraordinary
Christmas1: Going to see Gordon Lightfoot in my hometown April 13th. Always been a favourite of mine.
Just had a quick listen to Gordon on Youtube. He has a great voice. Have to admit i had never heard of him before. We have a lack of that kind of music in this country unfortunately

He has been a Canadian icon since the 60's...same genre as Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen.

Yes, he is so absorbing, writes just how he feels to write, wrapped with the music he surrounds himself with, No wonder he stands with Dylan and LC and many more. Nice appreciation

Back in the late 80's I went to see REO Speedwagon at an outdoor concert in Austin,Tx. Nothing new as this was the norm for living in Austin, except this time we were all blasted on X !
The greatest concert that I have ever been to was Prince's 21 nights in London! It was fabulous! You haven't been to a concert until you've gone to a Prince concert! It starts at 7 and ends at 4 in the morning! FUN TIMES!
Rammstein last December in Arnhem (Holland). Next one in London - Rock Festival, with line up including: Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Slayer, Placebo, Anthrax, The Cult & More

Rammstein a month ago in Birmingham UK.
Been to lots of things over the years - Police, Sting, Led Zepp, Tom Petty - think he might have been the support band, most people left when they finished - Nils Lofgren lots of times, Dire Straits, Crosby/Stills/Nash, Joan Armatrading, John Martyn, Gypsy Kings,Rolling Stones, Simply Red, Ian Dury.
But the concert that sticks in my mind for sheer energy and enthusiam was Bruce Springsteen.
Steve5721: Alice Cooper at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis SD. What a bloody show he put on...fantastic.
What year was that Steve...I stayed at Glenco and listened to the Full Throttle Saloon across the highway all night long. Particularly memorable was Commander Cody LOL. It must be a lonnnnng ride to Sturgis from Spain.
