I'm not goin to work Bob.. I'm goin to party But PR is great and being that is a US Territory, all you need is a Driver's License to go there and airfare is ridiculously low, I think I found it for $164 round trip out of Orlando.. craziness, I should have been there months ago..
Big_John: I've been invited to my first pool party on the 29th. So summer party time has begun!
not to boast lol.. but we have been having them for nearly 3 weeks, it's just been perfect here.... but I know in another month it will be 95 with 100% humidity, so I will enjoy it while I can lol..
sassy49senior: Very nice here in Nebraska Big Pop-pa
I have no doubts about that...but the get a visa to visit the United States...I need more documents then to get a heart transplantation .... guess the American government has seen my picture with the table cloth on my head....
cherrybrandy: FFS people stop telling us im getting green with envy
My apology! I'm so sorry that I live in a beautiful warm climate with lovely white sand beaches and fantastic 300 year oak trees for having nice picnics under them. The Gulf waters are already warm and it so sad that only a few of us can enjoy them. We shall keep it a secret and not let anyone know how nice it is here.
P.S. I must offer my apology for the extremely nice mild winters we have due to it rarely gets cold here.

Just tell them you want to be ready for the feast once you arrive
My best friend is from Australia and he will be here next month. He says things are a wee bit more strict than they were when he visited 2 years ago.

denmcintyre: sorry Cherry it's hard not to brag.. i'll be beggin for your weather when it turns to hell on earth here in a month or so lol...
I know the coldest I have ever been was a July day in San Francisco where I about died from the chill and the hottest day of my life was playing golf in Orlando in August. I thought the sun was burning the skin off of my body.
Definitely on my list, but I need to live on a budget right now lol..my first choices were Thailand and Philippines, cheap to live but way to expensive to get there.. My newest and possibly best option is Puerto Rico.. checking some things out now and may fly down after I get back from Virginia in a few weeks.. but yes CHerry, Iceland has always been at the top of my list..

I spent a little time in Ocala, which is a little north of Orlando.. hottest I have ever been in my life.. it sits in a kind of bowl and the wind blows right over it, you never feel a breeze.. miserable.. I think Ocala is about as close as you can get to hell on earth lol...

Really the Mississippi Gulf Coast is very nice in the Spring and Fall. Summers are extremely hot and you must play in the water or stay indoors with air conditioners. Winter are mild with very few very cold days.
We do have 28 miles of white sand beaches. Two miles from my home across the bridge to Biloxi are the casinos. I think there are now 13 of them. Plenty to do here and enjoy.
