Have never met a person who is both colorblind and has suffered for it.
Sure, they don't always paint their houses in a complimentary style, but that's about as much of a problem as I've ever seen.

Blue-green or blue-grey colour-blindness stops you from flying in the airforce, or being an electrician. If you can't distinguish one wire from another, or tell the difference between sky and sea or land, I think you might be adversely affected.
