Ooops, sorry, cardies! Yes, I've got loads of baggie frumpy ol' cardies. I loves them because they're warm and comfie and they've got useful pockets for things like dog biscuits and mascara.

Yep I do cardis....I have loads of them (well I live in one of the coldest countries in the world after all)...anyway I have them in all shapes and colours and fabrics with pearl buttons and crystal buttons blah de blah.....not frumpy at all if ye wear them with the right stuff.....I have a lemon short sleeved one looked out for today (hmm sun is out might not need it at all hehe)...nope theyre not frumpy at all!!

Anyways, Phoe, I never answered your question(how unusual of me!)..
I do like cardies...the idea of them, and have worn them over the years. One of my favourites over jeans was a bright red one years ago! But I haven't worn one in ages... I do prefer wearing shawl-type thingys, such as light weight but ever so warm, pashminas, of which I have several that I bought in Italy for pittance...I love wrapping them around and over the shoulders...or a knitted shawl shaped black 'cardie', one that has holes to slip your arms through. It's the more traditional Italian/European thing.
BTW...cardies are not just for women...I once knitted a really long cardie for my brother...He chose the design, the most complex, of-course!!..I knitted it for his birthday. He loved it, until mother washed it and it became 10ft long!!!!!!!!!
