No I don't believe so. However we can if we choose, when we meet someone special. It's not that difficult... you make your choice and stick with it because you love them

Hmmm it's quite amazing actually, because even species previously thought of as monogamous are turning out NOT to be! e.g. swans mentioned on previous post! So what hope is there for us?!!!!

Yes it's natural, but men dragging women into caves and raping them, like our cavemen ancestors, is also 'natural' following this same selfish logic.
What about the harm it brings to the family and children, is it not even more natural to protect your children without concern for your own whims and wants?
This is just symbolic of people who nowadays hold absolutely no duty except duty to themselves. People don't understand that if you are not content with what you have right now, you can never be content with what you would like to have, the grass is not always greener.

True. There's no doubt that a lot of damage is caused by infidelity in a marriage. I was just asking if it was natural... Personally, I believe monogamy IS a choice one makes. It seems to be natural to be attracted to more than one person in a lifetime but it is our decision whether or not we go along with the attraction if we are already involved...

Agree with your statement.
I personally choose monogamy but why do people choose not to be monogamous especially they have taken a vow?
