Well, I'm a little confused by your profile and the responses on here. Your profile seems to indicate that you are separated? If that is so, personally I don't mind chatting here on forums but would rather not get involved because, having been through it myself, there is unfinished business still to be resolved. Personally, I am uncomfortable even flirting with an involved man.

I have friends who are married. I don't need new ones. I knew them before they got married and I am friends with the whole family: husband, wife, kids, not just the man, the wife too.

gardenhackle: How about the direct approach. Say that you're married or otherwise "attached". Say right up front that you are seeking to have an affair and that it must be discrete. You might not get a lot of hits that way, but at least you'll only be lying to your wife/partner instead of both her AND whoever you can get to go for you.
Or you can date a bottle of hand lotion very cheaply. When you're done, you can toss it in the rubbish can and no one's hurt and everyone's happy. Get tired of that and maybe you should talk to your partner about your unmet needs and whatever comes out of that will come out of it. The best outcome would be that your needs get met or that you will both decide that you should be able to honestly broadcast your single status again.
