I think the main thing for me, Cristina, is just that it can prove too distracting - that is, take up too much time. But instead of leaving, I think I'd just reduce the number of contributions to the forums. Any day now I plan to do just that.

It can be addicting. I'm not really into popularity contest, they are for the shallow, but I can make a joke of it. I do think it is immature if you have conflict with one person and others turn on you because of it.

I just came back from a break. My reason is to catch up on some personal life issues. I would come in tho and read the forums when I could but didn't contribute to the forums but did to the mail. I have many friends on here and I missed them all dearly and had to come back.
