I used think that too, but I think it's sloppy now though in most cases, depends on the shirt though really and the overall ensemble I guess....or maybe out will come in again

Hi Alexi, I will tell you what my preference is if you tell me where we are going ? ( joke ) whether shirt is in or out depends on A. type of shirt ie polo or T/shirt etc .. B.formal or informal C. with or without a jacket and D. does the wearer of said shirt have a buddha belly ?
My preference on a guy is whatever he is comfy with however having said that in the past I have suggested to various male friends that their shirts would look so much better out unless they are going to be wearing trousers and a business shirt.
We'll say a normal button shirt, semi formal if you get my jist for social occassions etc but to look smart is a must, think that's what I was aiming for....not t-shirts, I would have thrown in the 't' otherwise....hmmmmm and I think in terms of business 'in' is a must really
