Hi G, I like the visual aspect of 'what you see is what you get' embedding but not being able to open other posts at the same time is an issue.

Just click on the video that is embedded, and it opens up in a new tab. Then you can continue reading here on CS and read the awesome youtube comments haa!

I have CS open in two tabs all the time anyway... I can still hear the music and post on threads at the same time.

Yes, that's exactly how I feel about them, unless of course it's not a music vid. For instance I posted a comedy sketch (embedded) a couple of days ago which you would have to watch, but when it come to music videos I would always prefer to open a link for that reason.

they already answered above....but for that problem there is an easy way out....just double click on the picture itself and the vid will open in a separate tab...and you can do both...
watch and listen if you like...or listen and carry on on cs pages...

Since you ask, I prefer links.
I don't have Flash so the embedded code produces a white empty box that I have to scroll through, but it's no big deal. I can't see the videos either way.
