Here in France it only began to exist about 15 years ago.

Yeps, I can only agree with that..same as in Belgium!

Here too about 10 yrs ago.... but they're over it.
Though I did enjoy it in the states when the kids were little and you see their little faces.
On the other hand I also like the idea that it's our last pagan ritual, no matter how skewed it's gotten.

Terrible ! Here in the U.S. it seems all religious oriented holidays are losing their meaning , due to the sound of cash registers.Halloween , also known as Samhain , is a very important holiday as it is a time to honor your ancestors.
