DadofDucks: I set p my profile, found the "state" forum and made a post there. After several days with not so much as a "Hi" I went tooling around the site, found all the people where here so I started posting like a fool....then came the emotes....

Dad & his emots.
Stand back people.... he's armed & knows how to use them!

Here's another common issue that people eventually run into... the reborn nuisances.
There are & always will be those who can't stay away. They so badly crave attention & yet lack the social skills(or the desire to use them) needed to behave in a civil manner. In these cases, that person will continue to harass, no matter how much they are ignored. If they don't get the wanted attention, they simply cancel their profile & create a new one, thinking it will fool everyone.
Their nonsense manner of posting, or extremely inflammatory comments should be a dead give away.
Take a moment before you post.
Go to that person profile & look at what they have posted, get a good look at how they've presented themselves. Every single thing you post(unless MOD removed), will be on record on the profile. This is one great tool to use when you are trying to gage a person.

Please keep this in mind, as it is on your profile, too!
If you can't say it to your family, friends or mate, you may not want to say it here.

*hahahahaaaa...
Mine's not aware that he's been neutered for years.
He still thinks he's got quite a set on him(until you turn on the vacuum or hairdryer)!

Back OT:

Some people get quite upset over the idea of friendly banter, saying it distracts from the essence of the thread subject. Personally I think there is an allowance for such chatter, provided people are civil & the subject is not lost for pages & pages.
CS is supposed to be a friendly place, after all.

I'd been on the site a while and didn't even know the Forums existed or what they were for. It was due to something I felt I needed urgent advice about that I suddenly spotted the Forums and just dived right in, I guess.

So, I didn't get to introduce myself.... apologies. But I had some fab responses from some truly wonderful people and it helped me a lot. Since then, I have made some marvellous friends, some I have actually met..... I have been very fortunate.
