I wouldn't have a problem with it, just that there's no furniture in one place and it's up for sale, and the other one is not much more than a warehouse at the moment.
I do like the idea though.

That would be great but first we have to meet in a neutral place in a group gathering. I would love to do that.
My rented apartment is an old one but it is located very down town in a beautiful city.

This year is impossible for me because I have not Canadian visa and it would take me a couple of months to get it by then my work plans will take me out of Mexico but in another direction.

I would love to visit Finland but I think better than exchanging places it is better to visit with a friend and he/she will show aroun to the visitor.
That way the visitor gets the most from his/her visit. Then we do it the other way.

I have not much of furniture either Kid I am minimalist for the material world and I do sleep on the floor a thin rug and a light matress on it, a cover, a blanket, a pillow and that is it and I never make my bed. (There are a couple of beds for normal people).
But I have a good collection of table wine, enough organic coffee in the freezer and I am a great chef (Mexican and Italian mostly). What else would I need?
