People who endorse "change" without knowing exactly what the change may entail clearly love surprises.
And such people must really like Obama because not only did he violate every one of his campaign promises (a time-honored tradition in American politics) he also introduced massive changes that nobody expected.
There is no doubt that Obama is trying to replace free enterprise with a controlled soviet-style economy and we must admit that he has made considerable progress toward that end.
However, free enterprise is hard to kill. Like "hope" it tends to grow back spontaneously.
Halfway through his one-term presidency, Obama seems to have bent every nail he was trying to drive into the coffin of the American economy.
Obama seems to be out of ideas.
Can anyone suggest something he hasn't already tried to destroy free enterprise once and for all?
Lenin was able to kill the free market in just a few months. But he had more charm and charisma than Obama. And more support from the populace too. He only had to kill about 20 million of the change haters.
Obama's brand of voodoo, trickle-down economics, (bailing out Wall Street crooks at taxpayer expense and stimulating the economy by adding more debt), has been just as ridiculous and destructive as the Reagan version.
Obama's supposed job program is not about creating private sector jobs, it's just another stimulus that will take a lot of taxpayer money and create a lot of artificial temporary jobs that are a drain on the the economy rather than a help.
This video is from back before the election but it does a good job of describing Obama's job plan.
Last spring, the government created a lot of temporary census jobs. Then, after a few weeks all the workers were fired and rehired again. And thus the jobs were counted twice as "new jobs created" and the figures were published to pretend that Obama's stimulus was working.
But as soon as the census was done all those jobs disappeared and the taxpayers got the bill for it all. The economy was worse off than before.
Besides the census jobs, the administration has also greatly overstated the number of new jobs in the private sector, particularly by overreporting the number of jobs involving new start-up companies. The numbers are impossible to verify so they are an easy way to falsify the number of jobs created without getting caught lying.
But look around. How many new start-up companies are really hiring? Not many.
Despite lies to the contrary the US economy is still shrinking.

It's year's end and all the economic indicators are gonna be coming in and it'll show that all the trillions spent did nothing whatsoever to really create real jobs.
