Republicans beleive if receiving tax cuts and then making some charity stuff and giving a ten million dollers check to a hospitalto look good and to fool some naiv supporters... then every thing is just fine but still... people are DYING out there and not even one of these honorable ameircans loosing their lives because of being poor or unemployed and then out of coverage are any thing less than a Boehner or a Sarah Palin who got their asse* full of corrpution money and can afford what ever health care coverage they desire!
America is the land of free but America is absoloutely unequal and the rich beleive they are way better than the poor and keep taking human rights of their fellow country men a way, and it is certainly a bout time America stands behind her president who made the first very serious step toward more equality regarding health care coverage in America after years and years with out other major steps.
Time is hard and many of you are angry and disapointed but kicking the man who is already down is not honorable what so ever... there are people out there whose lives are terribly dammaged and are suffering because of illnesses easily treatable if the coverage is aviable for them!
Another thread in here... I look forward to your participation and even some folks trying to destroy my thread by hijacking it and acting as a real spoiled Kid that way... still I enjoy every single one of your posts and looking forward to read the discussions and trying my best to reply.

Being Canadian and enjoying free health care makes me wonder why so many Americans are against it. I would not want a corporation (health ins., company) deciding whether I live or die, after paying them an exorbitant monthly fee.
Free enterprise is the American way, but when it comes to your health they should follow the lead of Canada, England, New Zealand, Belgium, France etc. The reason why Canadians outlive Americans by 4 years is universal health-care.

From what I have seen the Obama plan does more to help the health care and insurance industries than it does to help the poor.

Dude is just tossing us back into the debate of this last summer. This is again bottom up and top down tactics of European liberals. To keep a fire lite under divisive issues that the country has decided.
They see political gain in rioting and in long term political up heavel in a country. The Constitution of the country....can be junked....because it is the stabilizing and forming document. Dude had little problem with ACORN's registering 1000s of illegal voters during the 2008 election.
Like President Obama, he see that as fair political tactic., Anything that works, can be done to better the cause. Including rioting and terrorism.
With a bottom up in the White House, this now is why the liberal left is pressing the Obama administration for more liberal policy making. They work out a compromise deal on the tax cuts, but to liberals is not enough.There was not enough wealth redistribution in it.So............

Since it the holiday season....my suggestion to Americans is....make a list of every elected politician that is complaining about the tax cuts.....and in the next election vote them out of office. I listened to DEM REP Winer on Huckabee last night.
He and Huckabee debated the tax cuts, Winer was so unhappy that the President could make a compromise of his values and principles like that that. It was a moral outrage that that the wealthy....who had earned their wealth....did not not share it via high taxes that REP Winer could earmark.
My grandfather had a saying for it.....he called it "legalizes stealing". What Winer and Dude forget individual in America are the wealth making sector. Not the Government. It is individuals taking a business and personal risk to make and acquire wealth that progress our society with new products and services.
They can call the Chamber of Commerce a corrupt organization, or pharamcutical company profitteering, or a health insurance company unethical for raising the rates. When it was the DEM and Obama that made the business environment that they function in.
Winer and the liberal then come along and say....we want ours....give us your hard earn profits....so we can give the poor and needy......and get re-elected....because we bought their vote with your taxes. So it is legalizes stealing. Just with allot of rheotric to cover up the crime.

President Obama is now taking the 30% position....opps make that less.
Only 27% of American approve of Michelle Obama's 4.6b Healthy Hunger Free act. Meaning 77% are against. We don't even like the FED government in our food....much less in the Doctor office....the drug stores.......or our bed rooms.
What the bill did was give more lunch school funding and set basis standard for nutritional values and physical education standards. When said like that....it does not sound so bad.....so why are near 80% of the country against it?
Because the majority of the country ...feel that these standards should be set by the local school boards....and state governments and not the Fed government. Another example of big brother stepping on the toes of the little brothers.
AH so why locally? Because the country there is a vast difference in food taste. What works in SW USA and the in New England are very different. Sea food in New England is plentiful and fresh. Hispanic foods in the South west are the norm.
What the FED government is doing is to force all school lunch programs to be identical....in nutritional value. The poor kids will get only bread and water under the plan. Enriched bread and zero calorie water mind you.
So again.....the President and the country are at vastly different issue positions. A woman in Texas is saying...go ahead give my child a heated up taco for lunch. Add plenty of hot sauce. I give it to him at home. The woman in Maine is saying....make it a fish sandwhich with plenty of tartar sauce. I do it at home. Why should the schoool be different?
Anyways the Obama's and DEM ....because Nancy Pelosi was knee deep in this bill's creation....have stepped fully into the All American debate on healthy eating. I pity the poor school food service worker that gives the Obama's children anything different than the prescribed FED government bread and water luncheon meal.

Looks like the nuclear sanctions on Iran....have begun to hit home. Pres A just announced sever gov't cuts back.
Gas prices in Iran has increased by 400%. Gas has been according to many of the experts....Iran's achieles heel.Long lines of vehicles are at the pumps...expecting them soon to be without fuel.
President A sent the militia into the street to keep rioters from congregating. But no violence or rioting has been reported.

Well if Iran (and Iranians) thinks the the hardships are coming solely from the sanctions....they are going sponsor terrorism around the world.
Iranian Pres. A is hoping that the west will blink and give way here.
So he places the country into a austerity and forces the issue.
Simple point is if we are going to get UN inspectors into Iran...to inspect all its sites and programs.....we cannot blink. This is like the Cuban missile crisis....the one that blinks and wants out...loses.
But that Pres. A is expecting internal troubles with his austerity program....is a good start. Maybe he is starting to droop a eye lid.
Now if we can find a knock out punch...with out....violence and military operations.....then world is a safer place tomorrow.
I think the key here is getting Mousavi and his 1000 follower that are facing trials for the election rioting out of jail. If Pres. A releases them it is a important defeat and will place Mousavi into a solid position for a another election effort.
But if Pres. A holds them as chips and cards in the poker match....then it does not go well for us. If we see many new Islamic terrorist attack....which the western intell was saying was being hyped in online chatter for the holidays....then Iran is throwing some punches of it own in this face down.

Your mad guys had it all and still around fifty million americans had no coverage what so ever and still 18000 ameircnas dide a year because of lack of a propper health care coverage because of the price! The way I see it, from a simplistic point of view of course, is that most Europeans rarely complain about the wonderful health service we have, despite some of its failings, yet many Americans seem to be in constant dispute about their own and complain constantly.
I know which I prefer. If I get ill I´ll receive the best possible treatment. and here in Spain it really is the best, without having to pull out a credit card or proof of health insurance.

And when you sign over a greater percentage of your check to the Spanish gov't? Still happy and content?
All the Eureopean tax rates are higher than in the US. Maybe I should use the past tense there....were higher prior to Obamacare.
Jan, is really that hard for a person to write check monthly for a health insurance premium? It is only done 12 times a year.
Lastly, I would say this....locally they had woman on TV....she was low income....had no health coverage. So when she got a sever cancer, She faced destitution. Then she found local program at Arnold Palmers hospital for women....and the entire cancer cure cost was picked for her.

Only 27% of American approve of Michelle Obama's 4.6b Healthy Hunger Free act. Meaning 77% are against. We don't even like the FED government in our food....much less in the Doctor office....the drug stores.......or our bed rooms.
What the bill did was give more lunch school funding and set basis standard for nutritional values and physical education standards. When said like that....it does not sound so bad.....so why are near 80% of the country against it?
Because the majority of the country ...feel that these standards should be set by the local school boards....and state governments and not the Fed government. Another example of big brother stepping on the toes of the little brothers.
AH so why locally? Because the country there is a vast difference in food taste. What works in SW USA and the in New England are very different. Sea food in New England is plentiful and fresh. Hispanic foods in the South west are the norm.
What the FED government is doing is to force all school lunch programs to be identical....in nutritional value. The poor kids will get only bread and water under the plan. Enriched bread and zero calorie water mind you.
So again.....the President and the country are at vastly different issue positions. A woman in Texas is saying...go ahead give my child a heated up taco for lunch. Add plenty of hot sauce. I give it to him at home. The woman in Maine is saying....make it a fish sandwhich with plenty of tartar sauce. I do it at home. Why should the schoool be different?
Anyways the Obama's and DEM ....because Nancy Pelosi was knee deep in this bill's creation....have stepped fully into the All American debate on healthy eating. I pity the poor school food service worker that gives the Obama's children anything different than the prescribed FED government bread and water luncheon meal.

Ah but I´m a resident of Spain now, and the beauty of being European is that we can have free medical treatment anywhere in Europe, regardless of how long we stay or whether resident.

Affordable health care plan of Obama supports less fortuned America!(Vote Below)
As you all know ladeis and getns... in my eyes having an afordable health care coverage is a certian Human Right and in a modern and rich super power where all human right declerations important for the whole planet are signed ... I beleive it is shame if health issues is still just another business and tousands og human beings dying each year because of the lack of a propper health care they can affrod.
What bothers all human right activists in America who care a bout ameican health care is Republicans again and again success to lie and forcing their lies becoming a certain beleif in too many americans minds! Politifact have announced that the lie of the Year will be what Republicnas want America to beleive regarding affordable health care plans of Obama administration :
Any thing or every thing these Republicans are claiming regarding a govermental health care taking over are big stincky lies and Republicans are abusing too many amerincans lack of interest for poilitics or many americans really being sick and tired of the economical situation of the country and then getting along with what ever SHI* these Republicans shoving in to their Ears!
The state of the reality regarding these reforms are far from the Fear mongering campain of Republicans, and the american government is trying to stop abuse of tax payers money because of the old system and beside insurence companies and health industry have been allowed to take too much money and absuing people who are ill and desperate, to make few share holders stincky rich and the money sent to Republican party of America mainly and keeping their Fear machine alive!
Health care is a Human Right and being rich or pooor does not matter and all can become impossibly ill and life can destroy all of sudden no matter being a Donald Trump or the hot dog guy on Manhattan! Human beings got the right to expect being taken cared of propperly if ill and of course affroding it they pay but if not a government have got the resposibility to make sure the inhabitants are as healthy as possible and a more healthy population means a better societey... and of course a lot more people employed so the wheels of economy can run more smoothly!
Republican party of America have faught against a fair and balanced health care coverage in America for years and these Mean people have made this fight of theirs as one of THE most important fights and now when they have got their STUPID Bush tax cuts extended they want more and are going to try their best repealing these reforms and their fight will as usual stay Dirty, full of lies, full of deceptions, involving any thing and every thing in it, they will use foregin blood money to gain in this one as well and they will even sell their momma to destroy these reforms... what I hope from here is most of America stands up and at least studying the lies of the GOP specially regarding these reforms.
There is a certain need for nerves being as Mean and careless as GOP is against the benefits of the USA but when having a lot money to support their Sick ideology, then their Mean ideology is still rather Easy to sell to too many naiv americans and even to some americans who actually Gain a lot because of these refomrs!
