I believe that we go to the spirit world, experience other existences on all levels in other realms and astral planes as other entities and energies. We may come back to this earthly existence as humans, animals, plants, or anything that has a vibrating energy connected to Mother Earth and our universe to work out some karma and learn some valuable lessons to fulfill a certain destiny and journey. Ultimately, we would all like to go back to the source, the light....the Judeo-Christian-Islam concept of Heaven, The Hindu-Buddha concept of Nirvana. To escape this painful circle of life, and back to our source that connects all realities, illusions, time, matter and space.

Morning all.
As usaul quick peek during coffee break.
The above is the closest to waht I feel. Possibly use other words to describe it, but there you are.
Ultimately, yes, I believe there is something beyond dying as we know it.
Yes i do believe and that belief keeps me sane after all the sadness ive had through numerous close deaths..ill be with them all one day and then we will party Scottish style.

Three years ago, my 19yo nephew died unexpectedly in his sleep. I later asked my pastor if I got to heaven and my nephew wasn't there, would I grieve for him. His response was that there are no tears in heaven. I replied that I couldn't imagine not grieving if my nephew weren't there with me. He said that I would not remember him.
That was completely unsatisfactory to me. It's made me question some of the things I've been taught in the church.
I don't believe in traditional concepts of heaven and hell, but I do think in some way we continue to exist... a form of energy, a collective conscience...
More and more is being discovered about electricity and the roles it plays in life, studies are being done that are creating a more believable theory about the sun and all life around us concerning electricity and we know that electrical impulses are what operates our brains... so much new info comes to us, it leaves things open to so much possibility.
Dude, the end is just the beginning. C. S. Lewi's's best friend, who was an athiest, demanded that he have "All Dressed Up and No Where To Go" be chiseled on his tombstone. But at the moment he died, he raised his hand and said "Mary!" to the amazement of everyone there.
I believe in death after life......... we all need a 'break' don't we?
Seriously - it doesn't bother me......if God wishes to grant my naughtiness eternal thingybobism then so be it..if not I believe my last thought alive will last for all eternity - and it had better be a good one like:
'This chocolate tastes really yummy! Ouch what's that funny pain in my chest?...never mind this chocolate is just so GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!'

Back to our source... thats along the lines that I was thinking.... I am not sure, but I don't see it as a pearly white location above in the Clouds...I see our souls as a seperate and distinct energy which does not die.. where is goes specifically... don't know, but if it doesn't die.. (physics will prove this) it has to go somewhere...

... Hiya
Check out youtube "The electric universe" it's really strange but confirms a lot of my own beliefs about our energy continuing on after our physical bodies have died. It doesn't deal with the whole life after death question but makes a lot of sense if you view our "soul" as an energy. Trish posted this in the videos several weeks ago.
