I have found coffee or lunch is a good first greet and meet.

I usually go for the movie theater then maybe a walk or sit down and have coffee after and chat.My reason is because I'm kinda shy at first and a movie seems to be a good icebreaker..Plus its something else to chat about after the movie.

Yeah, jogging is a great way to have a date and not have to talk to your date for most of it... at least if you're doing proper jogging.
Also a stupid idea, because if you're not the same height your strides will vary and it's unlikely both of you will be able to jog at your own best tempo.

Going to a daytime public activity involving a shared interest is always nice. This should be a venue where you can freely talk with each other. It's a good way to get to know your date and if the chemistry isn't there, at least you spent a pleasant afternoon doing something you would have enjoyed alone.

Well, how about this:
a nice shared train trip into Amsterdam in the early afternoon,
then walking to the Floating Flower Market hand-in-hand,
taking a canal cruise,
and just exploring the city together as tourists.
Me sharing a little of the best of my adopted country and playing tour guide of a sort for my guy.
And that is how I'm spending my Sunday, ladies and gents.
