The welsh are Irish people that could not swim. But seriously scotland has its own Parliament a Mps makes its own laws and hasits own judiciary. wales on the other hand as only the powers that westminster allows it, very few. The Welsh judiary is imposed from london and so is the currencey. So i feel that Scotland is a country but not Wales JMHO

I think you may change your opinion after reading this....
There are eight accepted criteria used to determine whether an entity is an independent country (also known as a State with a capital "s") or not.
A country need only fail on one of the eight criteria to not meet the definition of independent country status. Scotland does not meet all eight criteria; it fails on six of the eight criteria...
1 Has space or territory which has internationally recognized boundaries (boundary disputes are OK).
2 Has people who live there on an ongoing basis.
3 Has economic activity and an organized economy. A country regulates foreign and domestic trade and issues money.
4 Has the power of social engineering, such as education.
5 Has a transportation system for moving goods and people.
6 Has a government which provides public services and police power.
7 Has sovereignty. No other State should have power over the country's territory.
8 Has external recognition. A country has been "voted into the club" by other countries.

"Occupied territories" might be a more precise term. They're not resisting the occupation very well though. The Irish could teach 'em a thing or two.
the welsh are not irish, they were there long before the romans they choose to be apart of england and the term welsh comes from anglo saxon means stranger or out sider etc they fought well the romans the irish the saxons the normans until there last king was killed, so let them be welsh i like they way they talk..
they voted to stay a part of england they need the money so does scotland without money from england thet both will be stuffed can not grow crops on rocks
