I always wonder how many faceless people the faceless people contact 
I bet hardly any!! I bet they scan through pics and stop at the ones they like
Ultimately for me character and personality is more important but Ive been put off people before because of the way they look..
Tattoos on the neck, chest and face wasn't very appealing to me neither was a beard as long as my arm..
Does that make me shallow?
I guess we all have certain preferences about everything in life

well I do not consider myself to be shallow even tho I joke like it sometimes
I do require a picture and the reasons are based on experience and range from wanting to be sure that I am in contact with an adult male to wanting to be sure there is some potential for physical attraction
I'm highly visual and it is important to me and it's my right to have that preference...I don't have a "type" or specific criteria and he doesn't have to look like a God - just wanna know there's a potential for a spark
so that's that.

I don't mostly go by looks. I prefer to go by the personality. What comes from within is more important. Looks only last so long, but what comes from with in, lasts longer.
