2.Politics is not a switch you flip on and off..'It's On..'
3.Talking about 'politics' on a date may have relevance if your date knows what country he/she lives in.
4.People really don't respect 'others' point of view..It's good politics to make them think you do.

I usually find a barrage of extremely right-wing views is enough to finish things off - it's a useful trick for when you're on one of those dates that you really want get out of, but don't want to offend her personally.
