Do you believe we should all be treated equally, given equal access to jobs and education and equal treatment under tha law regardless of our gender and that we should all be judged on our merits, abilities and efforts and not on what genetalia we have?
Or
Do you think one gender deserves special treatment when it comes to jobs, access to social services, the law and even in their portrayal in the media?
It's a simple choice. Do you think we all equal or are some more equal that others. Feminism or Men's Rights.

you ruined it all with that line
everything was completely making sense and of course people (well normal ones) would want equality for all above special treatment....but when you put this line in it makes me think that you want special treatment for men only ie Men's rights! you should have left the last bit out
Do men have any rights any more, definitely not treated with equal rights in many things, jobs ? if your in a male dominated union and threaten to strike or protest, you can get arrested and put in jail, in one case they set attack dogs on the dockers, female dominated union, they can threaten to do or do anything,,,bad politics to do or say anything about them, is that equal rights,,,can you imagine attack dogs being set on teachers and nurse's,

Perhaps there is scope for coaching on the best placed arenas for this

How about this,''' Womens rights ,Animal rights or Mens rights.
Well, we have 9 votes for Men's Rights and none for Feminism so far. Isn't it amazing what people vote for when you tell them what's in the tin, not what's written on it.
facetowardsfront: Expecting the world to be fair is like expecting a lion not to eat you because you didn't eat it.
I refuse to have it change me. It is bad enough I lost my innocence, lost my trust due to what I had to witness.. but I won't turn unfair on top of that, just because that's the way humanity is playing it's hand.
And not sure what past you are talking about. That's a long LONG lost past, maybe still active in some nature tribes, but humanity has been heading down this path otherwise for ages already...

They are not the poll choices so how are people voting for them?
facetowardsfront: I know you're confused, otherwise you wouldn't call yourself a Feminist
If Feminism wanted equal rights for everyone it wouldn't be called Feminism, it would be called Humanism.
I will concede that one to you Face.....while I do want women to be equal in countries where they most definitely are not, I am a humanist more so than a feminist!
fifitrixibelle: Indeed, some people arent interested in others opinions, how many anti feminist threads have we now? The invasion of CS is beginning
I don't think there are any other options. You are either for equal rights or you are not.
It's a bit like being in favour of giving our money to foreign bondholders or not. Imagine if you had a devious party or two that procalimed they were against that but still went ahead and did it. Should we offer a third option in that poll.
1) Are you in favour of paying the bondholders
2) Are you in favour of telling them to piss off
3) Do you want to be in a group that pretends to tell them to piss off but gives them the money anyway
No room for hypocrites. It's a or b, no third option. If you're looking for a third option you need to check yourself
Fraya: Given the energy you put into anti feminist and pro male rights on here one cant doubt your agenda. Surely you see this. Consequently when you post stuff, people will respond with that which you have prepared them for. Positivly or otherwise. I constantly question why you chose here??? Why are you not a national voice if your feelings are so strong?
I can't be responsible for people who don't know what the banners they parade under actually stand for. That's their problem not mine.

That is precisly the banner under which all/most fraudsters stand
Fraya: That is precisly the banner under which all/most fraudsters stand
Oh yes. The banners hardly ever say what those who write them mean to do. Were there banners in the USSR saying, "We're off to murder 40 million workers"? No, they said "Forward to the Workers Utopia".
facetowardsfront: Your confusion stems from your belief that Feminism represents equality. It doesn't. Once you realise that you will not be confused anymore. You will of course reject it and join with those of us who do want equality. Until then you will battle against us like we are the enemy. Your misunderstanding is your enemy

And your confusion stems from your belief that all Feminists represent inequality. As it stands, personally, I do not belong to any feminist organisation and I do belong to a humanist one so I'm not sure what says about me
I think the real problem lies somewhere completely different, and I feel even face is missing the point (sorry, but that's how I see it, no offense intended).
This planet knows a natural set up of competition. A set of laws that developed alongside the mutation towards beings who began to live of other beings, where before life on this planet lived entirely of none alive sources (if one is to believe scientific findings).
Humans are a product of this evolution, but additionally humans developed self awareness. Issue is that despite intellect, humanity is still very much foremost living by competing evolutionary laws, and the awareness of the self coupled with those laws has made matters worse amd worse, and we have developed systems (or had them cleverly put in place by ruling forces) which promote all of this further. Our whole schooling system is based on competition, our work places, everything, and now we even see competition seaping into our male/female relationships.
What I believe we need to do is apply our intellect to break from the evolutionary rules. We recognise the self, which in turn means we can recognise others as 'selves' too. We are capable of empathy, we can understand intellectual conclusions, such as 'don't do unto others what you would not wish done unto you'. That's not an evolutionary law, but one born from understanding others have feelings too.
The law system will never be fair, there is too much individual circumstance involved to ever truly be able to solve issues. It is up to us to learn to control the self, to opt away from competition that leads to benefits for winners. 'Winning for benefit' is an evolutionary concept, but we are beings capable of thoughts beyond that. The self should not strive to 'win' when such creates 'losers' in the process, but instead should strive to live content and peaceful alongside other selves.
Equality is a myth because we keep it a myth. Our ability to think beyond evolutionary laws could create equallity, but instead most choose to not apply that ability. As long as we revere that 'famous' actor Soandso, while the one picking up the trash from the site of the road is seen by us as of 'lower class/value', we are the ones who support inequality, and the original poster is just as guilty of promoting such inequality when he posts links or pictures of models or what not, while same time also posting pictures of females not as blessed with 'perfect bodies' or 'perfect faces'. That's valuing individuals for very shallow and evolutionary merrits, when what matters to the intellectual human resides within individuals - their ability to be honest and to care beyond just the self. Looks, bank accounts, degrees - none of that should matter to any of us, we should stop supporting and partaking in competing, and then all those 'right' debates would melt away, and we ourselves would find a far more harmonious and peaceful life along that path. Things are interlinked, but people seem to just pick up puzzle pieces that suit them to point at, while missing the overall picture, in my view anyway, but maybe I got it all wrong, can't tell, considering I have stood so very alone with this view in this world... *shrugs*
