If I was with a man who lost his job through recession/place closing down , I would expect HIM to have a lovely Dinner ready for me when I got home tired... and a cool drink, and massage my neck... What planet am I living on ? Well, I can dream can't I ?
If he is retired.... and receiving income and has some hobbies..... sure why not....

I have dated a number of men who were unemployed and it never bothered me at all. At the moment, it is hard to get employment if you lose a job so I wouldn't judge someone because they don't have paid work. There are other things that make a man undateable but not that he's merely unemployed.
eveny: All depends on the reason someone is unemployed and their attitude towards it.
