Pom_Pom: Nowadays smokers seem to be the new lepers.
They can't smoke in public spaces and if they do they get a fine.
Do you think this is the right way to face the smoking issue?

Fines are a measured disincentive.There are other proposals, as ban the cigarette vending machines.
I'm for these measures instead total banning.

I'm not against a total ban. Smoking is just about the stupidest thing you can do to yourself, and it's damn sure not good for anyone around you.

I am a smoker but I agree with you on that. Call me stupid but it is such a hard habit to quit.
