I love a rainy day (but only one or two in a row) when you need to recharge the batteries. Good excuse to snuggle up with the doona and watch your fav movies on the tele. Even better with a friend.

Yep me too, tank is all but empty and they have been predicting storms for weeks now

I love a good storm, haven't seen one for a while. All the thunder and lightning, turning off all the lights and soaking it up. Waiting to see which direction the next flash will come from and feel the roar of thunder through the pit of your stomach. 
Rainy days here in Victoria just make me lazy, especially when it is cold as well as miserable. Rainy days in Far North Queensland were awesome, warm and balmy, didn't stop me from doing anything, unless it was during a cyclone!

I was camped out of Roxby Downs in July and we had a massive electrical storm on 3 sides of us. Went for about 2 hours or so. Clear sky above, sheet lighting filling the skies all around. Kept us entertained.

Yep, Melb forecast is for heatwave Tuesday at 29, then Wednesday 17.
Typical Melb, crap one day, crap the next. But do so love the weather here without the humidity.

Rain on the Gold Coast today,
