I notice a lot more people are adding links to websites for information or entertainment in their posts. I am just curious as to how many people actually enjoy clicking on the links or whether you bypass them. Maybe you click some but not others.
Personally, unless it is something that interests me, I bypass them. I don't tend to post too many links myself either.

if it's something that really interests me, yes, I'll click the link. Otherwise, go right on by. They do also give an insight into the linker's thought patterns and beliefs. For example it might be a website espousing the latest conspiracy theory.

Yeah, I probably find more interest in the types of links people post rather than the links themselves.
I don't really click on links because they are often vids, or mp3s or other piffle that I really just don't want to be viewing when I am on here to chat or read forums.
Nothing wrong with putting links in posts, but youtube vids, etc really do not interest me in this site.... So I don't even both to read a post with a youtube link in it....
morning Merri , all three Snags . Can get abit side tracked following links on the links linking to something else with nothing to do with the thread first posted .
I follow them if I want to find out more about what's been said and I have enjoyed a few drunkennights listening to songs posted in music threads. It is much better to see the YouTube clip before you follow the link so you can choose which songs to listen to.
