Does any of this sound familiar? I know it does to me...
You know you have been on CS too long when...
- ... you check what's going on on CS before checking your regular e-mail.
- ... you spend most evenings on CS - and often a little too much time, since you find yourself putting off other things you would otherwise do, and getting to bed later than you would really like to.
- ... as you are falling asleep, some of the conversations from the CS threads are still on your mind.
- ... you find yourself thinking about threads on CS during your normal day, and coming up with funny, provoking or wise contributions that you will make next time you log on.
- ... you actually get annoyed because in your opinion there are too few emoticons to choose from for you to be able to express yourself properly!
- ... you find yourself thinking of regular day-to-day situations in the CS thread jargon way.
- ... you have to stop yourself from accidentally adding smileys and other little expressions to your work e-mails.
- ... the first thing you think about in the morning when you wake up is that you need to check who has read your CS e-mails/opened your sent flowers.
SO - THE QUESTION IS: HOW MANY OF THE ABOVE SITUATIONS DO YOU FIND YOURSELF IN REGULARLY?
Tulefel: - ... you actually get annoyed because in your opinion there are too few emoticons to choose from for you to be able to express yourself properly! That's true in my case
Maybe we should come up with some suggestions for new ones!
Phoenix: Nina, I don't understand the poll? Whats 1,2,3...relate too? The number of months, years.....Could you explain it please to this thick mick.
Ja me too Nina.
I did not vote cause I dont understand it.
But, I definitely been on CS too long. Much too long. My best before date was long ago expired!
Now I attract mail from the weirdo farm - that place where they keep the weirdos and allow them to send out emails.
Okay not ALL of it comes from the Funny Farm of Weirdos ... but the majority of it does. I got a few good nice friends here who mail regularly, they know who they are ..... out of the forum members ... The Weirdos come from the balcony seats where they scan profiles, and then relate their weird lives to total strangers...

Ah - sorry about that Smoky, see explanation above!
Nah - you haven't been here nearly long enough! What would this place be without Queen Smoky?!
I think the FFW has all our addresses, by the way...

Hi Nina (love your username BTW, it's what my dad calls me). This one rings true for me, not so much with emails, but with text messages..
I think I have been here about a year. I absolutely love some of the postors in the EU forums. They are addictive. Have met some of the CS folk in real life. All nice.

Hi Imma.
(Thanks, btw, it's a nick-name only my mom uses for me.)
I know what you mean - some forum posters are really great reads, and it easily becomes addictive! Yes, I've met a few too - all lovely folk.
