Alright so a brief presentation of the most important songs for the ones that I have chosen as alternatives:
- Pretty Woman: title track with Roy Orbison, Wild Women do, King of Wishful Thinking, It Must Have Been Love, Wild Child - Top Gun: Danger Zone, Top Gun Theme, Take my Breath Away - Grease: You're the one that I want, Grease Lightning, Summer Lovin', Beauty School Dropout - Local Hero: Lots of Mark Knopfler music including the main theme - The Harder They Come: Cult movie for 70's reggae featuring The Harder They Come, By the Rivers of Babylon, Sitting here in Limbo
As for your quoted options The Sound of Music is before me so I wouldn't know much about it. What songs do you have on Terminator? Thanks a lot for all your contributions!!
this song is VERY 80's....don't forget that.. I wouldn't like it these days, but it was a very good song for that moment in the film: it's when sarah connor comes home to see her roommate being intimate with her boyfriend and the terminator is already there and he kills the roommate and boyfriend.

Juneau: Do didn't have a "All of the above" answer!! I like all of them except the last one, which I have never heard of
The theme music from the movie "Jaws" ... it conjures up the image of a great white shark swimming around under where you are swimming ... eyeing your legs ... your torso ......
Great music and what is wrong with still listening to 80's music? Stuff from that era is so much better than almost everything out there today. At lest that is what I think.
I'll have to hire those Joy Division and Ian Dury biopics on DVD / blu ray. They should have some good songs on their sound-tracks.For my tastes the best sound-track that I've heard so far is Woodstock. So many great artists live on that film.
