Assault weapons have no business in the hands of the population but as long as you have sensible gun control and education like in Canada, (legal) guns would not be as big as issue. Canadian government is over reaching now with the legal gun owners yet the vast majority of gun crimes here is committed with illegal guns smuggled in over the border but little has been done to curb it.

There's more than one way to look at this. Relationships frequently fail because one or both parties feel their individuality (which includes right to privacy) has been compromised. If there is suspicion and/or jealousy in a relationship then it is already crap.

no need to share health related text messages that might be between yourself and your doctor; unless you want your partner to know what's going on. that might be on a need to know basis unless married.

no need to share any counseling sessions with your buddy over his latest break up. if he's one of those notching his bed posts then by all means, share with your partner.

if you're texting with another female, does your partner know? they probably should as well as the content of the messaging.

if you respect your partner, why would you be texting any one of the opposite sex any way? your partner should know and be clued in on what's going on.

don't want to be accused of any thing? don't give a reason for it. simple as that.

Just wondering how many people might know this: In the state of California (and I presume some other states) the higher earner pays spousal or "palimony" support. Both Cher and Elizabeth Taylor supported ex-husbands after the divorces, so do many other high earning California women. A little side comment regarding the whole "person equality" issue. Some time ago Judge Judy heard a case regarding a couple suing a business. During the hearing, it was revealed that the husband was a full-time stay-at-home homemaker. Judith was extremely nasty to him, ridiculing him in from of the audience, which could be heard snickering. I've been annoyed by this particular behavior of hers--the wife was a high-earner; the couple embraced this lifestyle, the wife actually paid her husband a professional salary. You know, it worked for them, what is it to anyone to rankle another for the choices they make, especially if it has nothing to do with them?

btw--I really like the "Dutch Treat" idea of a first date. It's a very sage way to go about it.

Overall it is not a great idea for the employees. (It's tremendously lucrative for the clinics, hospitals and rehabilitation centers: it cuts out several full-time positions, saving close to, or exceeding, $200,000.00 annually.) That's quite a bonus for them.
