I have found liars can be found off and on line. Sad yes and easily to figure out quickly.
I neither find love over rated or beyond reach. Which is kind of funny because I have not been in a relationship for years and like you I got disenchanted. I still believe there are a lot of good potential partners out there. I have crossed paths in life with a lot of good men. And the thing that kept me from reaching out to them is me. I know me quite well. I am not for every man. I ask myself what would I bring to that relationship. And if I think what I bring might make someone miserable I will just pass. I tried years ago a couple of on line dates. I think they weren't really lieing I just think sometimes we don't see our selfs as other people see us. Most people I come in contact with on a daily basis are not broken people. I have a tendacy to stay away from broken people. I prefer to surround myself with positive people. I do have love in my life. Enough it completes my need. Family, friends, community and as was mentioned cookies etc
