I have to admit I was wondering the same thing at first... really are there that many widowed men out there ??? then I thought perhaps maybe when filling out profiles they did not pay attention or skipped over question but over time you learn what to look for and I now know... the one from today said widowed of course... hair stated as brown except photo very distinctly gray and of course other things did not match as well and distance not a concern.... the little red flags appear one by one in conversations so pay very close attention to things said !!!!! Stilllooking66 I can relate to alot of things in your blog.. This last year I have lost two very close family members within 4 months of each other and ever since emotions have been on the roller coaster so to speak and you just can't help it!!! The whole family dynamic changes and the loss of my two dogs within a year of each in the mist of all this.. they being a part of my life for 16 and 15 years has just been really hard. I have been ok with being single 9 plus years now but my thoughts have changed since all this happened. I feel that it would have been nice to have someone to lean on during all these difficult times so I totally get where you are coming from!!! something is saying you need change and you should trust your instincts and take the steps to move forward if you think about all and everything you get overwhelmed and stay stuck so I have found that breaking things down into smaller steps towards change is more comfortable and less overwhelming and it will help you get moving towards goals rather then giving up and living in STUCKVILLE... If you take your time and think things through you can build yourself up for the bigger decisions to be made or feel you want to change... it really does work!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Yes, and sometimes that person could be having a bad day and you make them feel better with just a few nice words I've had it happen to me and it made a difference in my day!
