RE: Rice Pudding

When I cook Harb there is always something that can go wrong!

RE: Rice Pudding

Thanks for that Harb, looks like I may have over done it when I tried it. I'd like to make a successful one as the only decent on you can buy in the shops is too expensive.

RE: Rice Pudding

I tried making it a few years ago and it was a mess. I couldn't get the rice grains to soften. I also followed the recipe and it said a special kind of milk and cream as well, you mix all together in a saucepan and then put it in the oven. The milk and cream didn't mix properly either.

Did you mix them well over a low heat and then put them in the oven or put them in the oven cold? (from now on we'll call you Gordon Ramsey)laugh

RE: What a Diabolical Situation.

Since you were here last the nutjobs have really taken over, especially in the Blogs.uh oh

RE: What a Diabolical Situation.

Good to see you back!handshake

RE: Ivermectin, the true facts.

You wouldn't understand the difference between science and pseudo-science.

RE: strange female anomaly

Conrad, you've been predicting my downfall for quite some time now!

RE: strange female anomaly

Correction: substitute misandry for androgyny.

Correction2: don't read anything I've written.

RE: Breaking Covid News

Correct Jim.
The numbers of the vaccinated in America is not high enough, it's over 50% but nowhere near the 92% in Ireland. That's why the spread of misinformation is so despicable.

RE: Personal & Societal Irresponsibility has consequences, which should include financial responsibility

@mic
That's true, I stand corrected.

RE: Personal & Societal Irresponsibility has consequences, which should include financial responsibility

@riz

I agree with your diagnosis of 'controlling personality'...I would go further in saying I would have grave concern for any woman who might become his partner.

As we say in Ireland; 'I wouldn't like to see him marry me daughter'!!!!!

RE: Personal & Societal Irresponsibility has consequences, which should include financial responsibility

@Boh

Where do I begin?laugh

The popular vote DID work, contrary to your claim, and elected Biden. As such America stood back from the brink of disaster another Trump term might have brought.

RE: Personal & Societal Irresponsibility has consequences, which should include financial responsibility

No Conrad, more like present day Scandinavia.

RE: Personal & Societal Irresponsibility has consequences, which should include financial responsibility

I agree Jim.

RE: Personal & Societal Irresponsibility has consequences, which should include financial responsibility

Problem is they don't evaluate the consequences of their actions on others, they are too selfish and ignorant for that. So what is to be done?

If they won't behave responsibly they should face the stick not the carrot. There's too much at stake here for the nice approach.

wave nice to see you again.

RE: All lifelong President Trump Haters please acknowledge here and elucidate on why you fear him

Not hate but fear, quite justified in Trump's case.

RE: United States Military

@crypto

You may believe your thoughts are alternative but I'm afraid they aren't, in fact they are mainstream among a certain section of society.

RE: United States Military

Crypto,

It's because he's a ghastly blowhard, Bohemian can see that, so can anyone with a working brain.

RE: United States Military

Good man Boh, you stick to your scriptures.......rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Is it ignorance to say the covid vaccine is not an actual vaccine?

A cautionary tale from Donegal (Ireland):
A 75 year old man was persuaded by a group of anti vacc loons to leave hospital despite strong advice from his doctors to remain. The loons convinced the man that the hospital was trying to kill him.

He left the hospital, became very ill a few days later and was re-admitted, it was too late however and he died soon after re-admittance.

The law should clamp down on these loons.

RE: United States Military

Interesting stuff Gal.

laugh Say no more!

RE: Dating for the Aware

@Dani

If the media isn't showing it it's because those doctors and lawyers have no credibility. The traditional media have to follow rules in a way we on social media do not. There are no editors on the net!

RE: CNN Poll: 2% Think America Is Doing ‘Very Well’ Under Joe Biden

@mic
Well what's the cause of the other 98% then?uh oh

RE: "Thank You"! To All The People In Here & All Around The World!

The only people risking their lives are those who won't get vaccinated.

RE: Missing someone

@ginger.

Interesting points. Some people believe you can 'remember' things that haven't yet happened. I think it can be called 'pre-cognition' (as opposed to re-cognition). A scientist from my own town wrote an interesting article on it a few years' ago.

RE: Nearly 90 retired Generals and Admirals call for the resignations of Milley and Austin

Well Boh, he showed up your ignorant ranting for what it was, rather than showing shame at being uncovered all you could do is refer to his physical appearance.

RE: Yanking the chain or chaining the Yank

Exactly.

RE: Osama bin Laden’s prophetic statements about Joe Biden

@orzzz

I can assure you that that is not true. It was Trump who made you the laughing stock of the world.

RE: Left or Right

The only problem with that cartoon is that there are a multitude of choices, not just Dem and Rep.
