Women always get burnt out on musicians, there all excited at first dating someone that can play instruments and then the scene gets old. My guess for you is, instead of playing music all the time gotta do something else. I feel you though, ive played guitar 12 yrs and i value my instruments more then some women ive met. However i found another passion of mine and thats cooking, which i have been doing for years now. So try something different to make a woman appeal to you, or if she has any hobbies her self, try to get into those so you two can share something together. Personally, im done dating women that dont do the same stuff i do, it never works out, split differences has gotten me no where. So this quote "two opposites attract" i flushed down the toilet. That quote is true for about a year or two, but never anything long lasting, or life lasting.
Its SOOOO dam obvious when you find someone you cant trust on this site, it usually starts with, of my father died, blah blah blah i need to get into the country. OR it will be people with no picture or people that dont comment alot on the boards, polls, forums, etc. Its simple to know when someone is playing you, just realize why havnt i seen this person before? I think your best bet is looking for the people you see that comment in blogs or forums or poetry, someone that gets involved into the site is your best bet, not someone that gets involved into you, thats just to narrow as of what someone is looking for and it just happens to be you? Be careful and make sure the people contacting you are involved on the site, not just robots.
Blog writing is a great way for women to get to know who YOU are, thats another thing to keep in mind on this site, write blogs, and respond to them, give them insight to your opinions on various subjects, one of them will notice you no doubt. This isnt like meeting a girl at the bar, your looking for (or at least most people on this site) is looking for a companion, not just a friend or someone with similar interests. It takes time just like anything else you do in life does. Theres no doubt its easier to meet a one night stand in RL, but i think most people on this site are looking for more then just a one night stand, so it takes scrutinizing and speculation. Post more blogs, answer more questions, and let all the ladies know who you are and what your about. This is better then just a dating site, this is a know who your dealing with site.
i think it would be even more awkward finding someone that has already seen you on another website, on top of that, what if alot of people have seen you on another website, even though you might think your spreading your self across the board, you could be hurting your chances... Put all your work into one site, describe your self, show plenty of pictures, and run with it.
the mans trying to make a point, in a perfect speech you say what your going to say, say it again, and at the end of it, remind them what you just said. lol.
