I agree with most of the people here. You should go ahead and get the PHD or whatever you want! The longer you wait, the easier it will be to never pursue it! I am much older than you and I know if I had some things to do over again, I would pursue those ambitions! JMHO!

The problem in many cases is, the families aren't thoroughly checked out. These agencies send a form letter for people to fill out and don't see them after they initially sign up for welfare. That should be changed!
I have been approached many times to buy food stamps. Pay $100 cash and get $200 in food stamps. I won't do that. They use the cash for booze and drugs! I have seen it.
