Blue suede shoes was written and recorded by Holly on his recorder. Carl Perkins recorded it with a little success but Elvis Presley made a big hit out of it!

Yeah, Bobby Vee. Holly was also a friend of Bob Dylan's. They almost hooked up before Holly died.

Holly wrote and recorded a lot of music on his own tape recorder. This music was discoved after his death. Many of the songs were recorded by other artists and became very popular!

Great talent died way too soon!

Oh yeah! We were buried in about 10 inches or so. Many large snowdrifts and complete whiteout! Monday morn here and it is 10 deg. Sheesh!!!

It is hard to do...but I know you can do it!

Some of the tips I got to quit smoking worked very well. They are:

Spicy foods bring on the urge to smoke so try and avoid them.

Break habits that go with smoking i.e. drinking coffee/tea after a meal and smoking a cig. After eating a meal, instead of smoking, go outside and take a walk breathing deep to clear your lungs.Stop drinking alcohol until you have the smoking under control. When you want a cig very badly...take a cool shower to calm your nerves. And last but not least, do not carry cigs with you. Replace them with some mints or some other type of candy. So When you want a cig, reach and have some mints or candy!

I don't believe in "man made lores" as you claim. Newton who wrote the book you referred to me got most of his info from studying eastern religions and what people disclosed to him. Then he drew his own conclusions.

I only believe one way. The Christian Bible and what it says! PERIOD!
