I just had a wonderful meeting with TWO CSers, and one came from JHB to CT, the other from Norway, via JHB . . .

I am happy to report that it was GREAT meeting my CS friends

I guess I am feeling it badly because my daughter and Anthea were quite close in age and I always saw a parallel in their lives. When my daughter got home from work, after I heard the news, all I could do was hug her tightly

I would strongly recommend that you study each one of them carefully, interact with them, (preferably here on the blogs or directly into their inbox) and you will in all likelihood, discover what NOT to do or say or how NOT to behave.

In the meant, hang around and you will eventually forget why you came here in the first place

In years gone by, people where largely uneducated and uninformed about virtually everything.
These days, most people have access to information about just about anything under the sun.

Vaccines and the like work well in underdeveloped countries where there are inadequated medical and food supplies, because they can provide the protection for those who don't know how to do it for themselves or don't have the resources to get adequate protection.

Vaccines . . . I only insist on the first few after birth, because at that stage the baby is too vulnerable and only just starting to build up the necessary resistance within itself.
I start supplementing and boosting the immunity after about 2months and from there on in, vaccines no longer become a priority, and antibiotics are something I avoid unless absolutely essential to recovery.

Risks in everything????
Absolutely there are, but is it worth taking the risk of liver failure, or respiratory problems, or kidney problems, or heart problems, etc, just to avoid the inconvenience of an itchy outbreak, or an irritating cough & a slight fever from a cold, or something else which could last a few days? Or even worse is it worth taking those risks when all you needed to do was eat correctly?

God has provided MANY things, including the wisdom for medical & scientific research and development . . . but along with that he has also provided the wisdom and freedom to make choices. The choices we make are our responsiblity,
