My best first date was in a restaurant. The man invited me in one of his friend's restaurant... it allowed us to feel more comfortable. Afterwards, of course, we spent some times only both of us.
I'm doing the same thing than you...I'm trying to improve my English.
So here are my advices:
- Read a lot... but respect your level of English because if you read something too easy, you won't progress...and if you chose something too difficult you will lose your energy too quickly.
- Sing! Incredible but yes, listening music, reading the lyrics on the internet...and singing will help you to improve your knowlege of the vocabulary, you pronounciation and your listening comprehension.
- Study on a regular basis.
- Watch your favorites sitcoms in English...without subtitles ;) That's more difficult but more efficient as well!
Just write it the way you feel it on your profile. And if you keep receiving email from women without pics on their profiles... tell them to read your profile before to talk to you
