RE: Where are I will go today...

hope you have an especially fun day!

RE: Is there only one way to God?

Have you any proof of the eternal? If so, have you any proof of the existance of any deity? If so, have you proof that this deity is the (Insert Religion Here) Deity?

What you have now is called Doubt. Doubt can be a good thing, as it can lead to curiosity, and curiosity can lead to research, which can then lead to evidence. Thing is, you are asking about that which can never be evidenced. How can you prove eternity exists? You can't. You can point out that X Holy Text proves eternity exists, but then you have to prove that THAT particular text hold the truth, and that itself becomes impossible.

There are two ways to remove doubt. The first is called Reason, and Reason is born of empirical evidence. Reason is born of that which you can measure, what you can observe. The other way to remove doubt is with Faith.

Faith is believing something unconditionally. You can have Faith in deities, and in fact when we hear the word faith, we assume it means to believe in a god. But Faith is not just limited to gods. We can also have faith in Science, faith in mankind's abilities to solve our problems, faith in Good, faith in Justice, etcetera. To many, Faith is a virtue.

In this case, the belief in deities becomes a question of Faith. Deities can not be proven or disproved, therefore their existence is dependent on whether you believe in them or not. In the end, you will realize that the question of whether Ahura Mazda exists and Ganesh is not real, or if Yahveh is the true god and Isanami is a figment of imagination, is a question only you can answer for yourself. Remember that we are all atheists; some people just believe in less gods than others.

As for truth, this is something my teacher once taught me. There were five blind men touching an elephant. One thought the elephant to be a rope, one thought it to be a spear, one thought it a pillar, another a stone, and another a fan. They were all wrong, but none could convince the other of this fact. They had seen the Truth, but because their perception was limited, they misunderstood it. We are like that. We can see the Truth, but because our perception is limited, we tend to misunderstand it.

And that;s the thing, isn't it? We have a limited perception in life. So why sweat the small stuff? Just relax and let it be.

RE: Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda

I'm very sorry for your sister's passing. May she rest in peace.

This post has left me thinking long and hard. Yeah, that's how I'm living now.

RE: Men

Not all men want a relationship. Not all men are ready for them. So when you tell them you want a relationship, they will simply reach the logical conclusions.

Take it like this:

She says she wants a relationship, but I don't think I'm ready for one. She will either push me into it, or leave me to look for one.

Or:

She says she wants a relationship, but I don't. She will leave once she knows this.

Not all men have the emotional maturity needed for a relationship, and not all who are wish to be in one. But still, take their fear as a sign that this guy is not right for you: He is neither Mr Right or Mr Right Now.

Guy: Oh my love, watching you sleep is such a joy...

AFTER Marriage:

(Guy's wife is asleep. He's not.)

Guy: (Slaps his wife with his pillow) Oh my God, could your snoring be ANY louder?

BEFORE Marriage:

(It is 3 PM. Man arrives.)

Woman: My love, why are you home so soon?

Man: Every minute I spend away from you is torture!

AFTER Marriage:

(It is 3 AM. Man arrives)

Woman: I didn't want to fall asleep until after you came home.

Man: And I didn't want to come home until after you fell asleep.

Blogs are for expressing yourself, or writing whatever comes to mind. Don't worry, writing the first blog is always nerve wracking. How about your next blog, you introduce yourself to everyone smile

RE: Love and Hurt

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. It is the bitter potion from which the physician within you heals your sick self. So trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility.

RE: ..:)

Sometimes it's the way someone looks, sometimes it's the way that person makes you feel like the world, sometimes it's the way that person brightens your day with a smile, sometimes it's the way that person makes you angry and happy at the same time.

Sometimes it's the way that person smells, the way that person walks and talks, or the way that person looks into your soul with those eyes of theirs, or the way their voices sounds like a gregorian chorus, or the warm touch of their hand, or the coldness of their skin, or the way they seem to glow during a summer's sunset, or the way their smile seems to shine brighter than the Sun itself.

Sometimes it's the way that person keeps to him or herself, or how they seem so far away from you that you know you can't have him or her because you are so beneath that person it's embarrasing, or the way that person lives on the other side of the world yet just thinking about this person brightens your mood.

Yeah, I can't explain it either

RE: someone explain plz

RE: Dream Weaver

Sleep deprivation can come from stress. I know I tend to lack sleep on stressful nights, such as when I know I have to wake up early the next day (like tomorrow, ugh...)Just forget about tomorrow and try to get some sleep.

RE: pariotism out the window

Eagles have always been symbols of power. Even Rome has used eagles to ymbolize their imperial prowess. The eagle is still a majestic bird, mind you, but it is first and foremost an opportunistic hunter. And like all hunters of the wild, an eagle would not pass up a meal. Still... here's hoping that diaper wasn't full of...oh who are we kidding? Of course it was.

Patriotism

actions speak louder than words.

RE: ROMNEY in the lead for 2012!!!!

The only thing I know is:

Obama was the first president in 50 years to give an official Presidential visit to Puerto Rico.

When George W. Bush first took office, the US economy was in a surplus. When Barack Obama took office, the US economy was in a deficit.

Barack Obama was born from an American mother. According to American law, you are a citizen if born in US territory OR born from US citizen. This therefore renders the birther's argument moot.

About half the people who voted for Obama voted for him because his name was Not George Bush.

People expect Obama to be Jesus, so of course they're gonna be dissapointed.

In 2 years, Obama did the one thing George Bush couldn't do in 8: Kill Osama bin Laden.

Obama's strongest and loudest opponents are a woman who served half a term as governor to a sparesly populated state before quitting, a news channel well known for its bias, the owner of a multmimillion dollar company whose ego is legendary, and a whole slew of people whose contributions to America are barely registable.

The Tea Party has done nothing for my people of Puerto Rico. In fact, there isn't even a Tea Party in Puerto Rico.

Yeah I was into Naruto up until the Sasuke Retrieval Ark. You know, the last good arc up until the Filler Fatigue kicked in.

Dragon Ball Z, now THERE is a great anime. Another great Anime I really loved was original Mobile Suit Gundam. I remember loving it, and Gundam Wing too. After that they I couldn;t keep up with Gundam anymore, lol, though I did try to watch 8th MS Team.
