You know, a lot of people remember things that others don't. I remember names, numbers things that happened in the past but I can never remember where I put things.

I gotta comment on this one because the answer may be that he had priors and in some states these priors preclude any compensation for a different charge different from the current charge.
Unfair? Tarnation yes!! In many cases being tried in court you cannot bring prior charges and accusations from previous crimes you may or may have not committed as "evidence" in a current charge.
So I think that prior charges should not be held against you SPECIFICALLY in a wrongful charge where you are later exonerated. ALL courts should be fair.
What I'm wondering is where are the fighting men helping us whose countries have been sacked by these people. Yeah! It took us some time to react to 9/ll but when we did we did something. Now that ISIS was making big time threats we have taken it to them again. I know some countries are like that courageous woman whose airstrike sent a big message to ISIS. But where are the fighters?
In tonight's news a former Secret Service guy said President Obama was watching football during the Paris March. So? Is that a crime? I also believe he was keeping a heads up on the fighting our brave airmen and soldiers are doing to keep these mad men under control. What if these crazies pulled another crazy attempt because Obama was there? A rocket fired into this march from some distance MAY have been launched, as well.
Yes, I think we should have had someone there but even some of the participants were fighting with each other. For this one, I think he made the right choice.
I wouldn't give it a second thought to looking at it again. Your blog is a good one, it addresses a fault most of us have and we don't think about it till we get old. And then maybe we'll change.
I think that every TV minister dressing in fine tailor made suits, preaching in Mega-churches are just trying to justify their riches in terms of dollars with false teachings!
Jesus Christ teaches that we are all rich with the inheritance HE gave us when we accept JeSus Christ as Lord and Savior these are riches in Godly things and not finances!

Just got back from the game and it was lopsided with Oregon winning 59 to 20. They took our Marcus Mariota out with 9 minutes to go or it would have been at least 73 to 20.

To tarnation with cable! I can go to a bar, sip a $2 beer and watch the game. For big ones they usually have food, too! The one I go to is called the "High Brow" and it's nothing like that at all. But it's fun and the people are cool!

My ex lives with our daughter in our daughters house. From what I understand she still runs the daughters life. I am so mad I want to go over and grab her by the collar and shake the tarnation out of my ex.
I can't and she knows that she can get away with it because she is obstinate and pushy. She needs to be kicked out and get her own home. BUT that's an impossibility too.
So, you see. You just need to be in charge of yourself and ignore your parents and your sister.
