Funny you should say that. I just got off the phone with my brother and we were chuckling about Ben Rothlisberger, the quarterback for Pittsburgh Steelers, and how he waddles when he runs. The glitch with the hose clamps was this. We used high pressure hoses to wash huge vats and machinery. The hoses were so worn out that we had to trim the "connection" end when they became torn and frayed from sharp bending. A small 39 cent hose clamp was needed and they didn't have it in stock, yes, because the budget was exceeded.
The delivery vendors worked night hours when the plant was closed and the only one with the company was the man releasing the merchandise to them and driving the fork lift to load the trucks. There was no possible way these men could have been allowed to roam in the warehouse.
Again, thanks to everyone. I had fun reading your responses. And the truth is O just gave up and had a laugh at the HR people.
