Move on by socializing and forgetting your obsession. Then guess what? Your eyes open up and standing right before you is a man that loves you and you love him.

It seems like your friend has this man figured out. She is doing right in not contacting him first. The reason I say these things is that by looking at other women he is in fact advertising himself as "available to other women". It also appears that he is interested more in her money and because of that he is a cheap skate.
Tell your friend to stay in it for the friendship only and to get away if he starts pressing her "for more"!!!! But not more than that. She would be able to find someone who is also educated and a man when it comes to doing his part in a relationship.
Believe me. Nothing has changed. Marriage and relationships have always been the same. Movies are not real life and a book is the story of ONE relationship.

Priscilla broke up with me when I was 18 and Martha broke up with me when I was 34. After the Martha "episode" I made up my mind that a broken relationship would never bother me again. I just moved on.

Just be yourself and things will settle in for you. Instead of looking for a GF on the blogs get on search and do your "work" there. When you open yourself like you did in a blog your asking for a lot of lip from people.
this was a hard family to get along with. That's why I was amazed that it took old age to make them settle down and quit being so pushy and big billies! Hee Hee
