It isn't hard for a single irresponsible man like me. I just walk into my little trailer, look to see what time it is and turn the TV or the computer on depending on the time. Then I grab some chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk and I relax.
It sounds like to me that your remembering what it was like before so you can be ready for what is to come. Good for you. Judging by your writing it appears that Simmo is a very fortunate man!
In the US men wear tux's in a variety of colors. Some are even patterned fabric. The younger dudes even wear bermuda shorts instead of long pants. And cowboys wear these 10 gallon Stetson's.
Actually, it must be a very old custom from way way back. I googled for an answer and there was none. Nobody seemed to know nor was there a good explanation.
I never really noticed but then I am a single irresponsible man so I wouldn't notice.
But now that you mention it I have memories of Hispanic people in my hometown back in the 1940's that made their own soap and they cut them in chunks that were somewhat square and not so rectangular.
I don't worry about my children. I pray for them. And I give them advice when they ask for it.
There is absolutely nothing we, as parents, can do to make them do what we think they should do so I don't worry about them. After all, when they become adults they're on their own.
BUT!!! Their mother worries so much about them that they sometimes stay away from her calls and they tell her to back off. Because when they're 40 (they're twins) they're adults!!!
Your son is 22. It sounds like he has set alot on his table. It also appears like he's stretching his wings so just let him.
Did you hear or read about Cheo Feliciano? May he rest in peace. Years ago when I was a young man getting into Salsa I really like the "Fania All-Stars".
The best thing to do in this blog world is to ignore the ones you will not like and comment on the ones you know you will like. Just like in real life. You know your neighbors! Which ones are sociable and which ones are totally rude and lack the intelligence to try and be nice.
