1....I know. Walk a mile in the other guys shoes for a while. It would humble them (I would hope) and give them a taste of what the real problems are. I don't want a hand out...I've always worked and always made my own way and always made the best out of what I have, BUT, give me access to insurance I can afford.....gas that doesn't cost an arm a leg....medications that don't cost a month of my income. Common sense things that would help tremendously....
I agree. I think all governmental positions should have term limits. That way, they don't become complacent. Always fresh ideas and fresh eyes on the problems that face us all.
I wish I had an answer. No corporate "favors" would go a long way...No "I scratch your back you scratch mine". The special interest groups like the pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies get to write their own paychecks, so to speak, and are given free reign to do pretty much whatever they want because of the "favors" they have provided.....
Cheavy...I think the middle working class is on the verge of extinction....It saddens me that we are slowly becoming the minority and yet, without US, the rich can't get richer and poor lose their entitlements. We get less and less help but have more and more to "fund". Scary times.....
I KNOW.....How cold they POSSIBLY understand that, while I HAVE insurance, I can't afford to USE it because between the out-of- pocket and the deductibles it's like having no insurance at all
Angel: Wow..... Yee Haw Partner!! (Where's a good old cowboy emoticon when you need one?)I went to Ok. once. My daughter went to boot camp there and we drove out for her graduation. Hot, hot.......HOT place to be!! Hope you enjoy your trip.
Calli: Hi!! Been here and there, mostly here. Working on my house and working. I'm afraid nothing wild and crazy. How's things?
Beauti: Hello glad you dropped by!
Capricorn: Nice to see you. I had writer's block...sorry. It'll get better. (I hope)
Viking: Good of you to stop by.
I really didn't mean to "Blog and Run"....Always forget about the time differences and it was time for me to go to bed. Big day ahead. Putting windows in my house so I needed to get up EARLY to prep things. Really nice to see everybody again
Hey Angel!! Not much....go to work, go home......go to work, go home My favorite past time though, of course, spending as much time as I can with kids and grandkids. How about you? How's life?
I try (operative word here) not to feel dejection or rejection...I really think everyone comes into our life for a reason...to teach a lesson. Maybe it's a good lesson, maybe a bad one. Some teach us how to laugh, some teach us how to cry....
I'm going to hijack my own blog for a minute....I was driving home from my daughter's house early this afternoon. I always take the back way 'cause I don't like traffic and because I like to take in the sights through the country. Anyway, I get to this big farm house and sitting in the middle of the gravel driveway, I see this man and his little boy. They were sitting there playing with little toy tractors and trucks. It SO made me smile!! I mean, I'm sure there were things the man needed to get done, but at that particular moment, NOTHING was more important to him than playing in the dirt/gravel with his son.... lovely sight. Made my day!
I think, anyone running for a public office should
