Thank you for your comment Chame1eon! What a coincidence, I just read your comments on last Nessa's blogs and I totally agree with them! I say it here since you know, I got deleted when I commented there.
Like you, I didn t know either, that there was a special term for such marriages. I read it in an article about intellectuals who lived at the edge of the 19th and the 20th century. When I googled the term, I saw the site called with this name and it struck me that this type of marriage seems to be a well-spread practice nowadays...
Teddy, so if you don t like someone s arguments you prefer to delete the comment? So it s allowed you to comment on me and call me "stupid" but you delete my answer? I will tell you the same I told Nessa on her blog: if you don t want me on your blogs, don t deal with me. And at least mention my name, don t be scared of it...
Teddy so you are deleting my comments? Why? Do I delete yours on my blogs? And I didn t say anything bad to you, just had the right to comment when you involved me in your comment at Nessa. If you delete this too, feel not welcomed on my blogs anymore.
Serendipity, I d love to see your point and arguments on the topic! I have rarely if ever seen somebody who d explain the most complicated matters in such a deep yet very clear and understandable way!
As about this blog, honestly, I was hesitating whether I d prefer to reincarnate or not On one hand, it seems like it gives some possibilities to "make it up" for your previous lives (but if you don t remember them how would you know what to "make up"?). And it gives a possibility to stay for longer on Earth, in the material world we know and love and departing from which makes us literally scared to death. On the other hand, reincarnation sounds scary since you know you pay for something you are not aware of. If you don t find love so you have sins against love in your previous life. If you don t have kids, you have sins in this area etc. And if you don t do well in this life you might be some low creature in the next one, an executor or a deprived one or a mollusc
Thank you Saggi and thank you for your comments! These "ordinary" people I guess in most of the cases accept what s imposed on them by the society or live their lives like weirdos, losers, marginals...
Hey Frank great to see you and thank you! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
I agree with you and that s why I got interested in this topic: these kind of marriages are caused by the prejudices and stereotypes. They are some decision but they are still a lie. And lies cause a lot of stress and unhappiness.
Cherrie, probably it s more spread in the Western world and I guess in the other parts of the world even such a solution is scary. So people just don t marry or suffer in a "normal" marriage.
Ed we don t talk of a mistake. Welela deliberately mocked at the blogger and asked him to go away with his boredom. I don t see any normal reason for her to do so.
We have a similar holiday but not as big one as yours. I have read that Thanksgiving is connected with the Protestant tradition combined with gathering the fall harvest. So it was initially in October as it is in Canada now.
Thank you to be one of my very special friends here and for your great contribution to the blogs!
Korean, burning books, flags, people is the ultimate sign of helplessness. In the case Nonsmoker gave in his blog, the girl did it out of anger and desperation, I guess. And the reaction came from people who were even more angry and scared than her: scared to lose their total power on people s minds.
Thank you for comparing and clarifying the two concepts (one life : reincarnation)! It was very interesting to read your insightful yet very clear explanation. I guess it sounds very tempting for many to think they have multiple lives, therefore possibilities to "make it up". Like school years. It s kind of scary to think that you have only one "school year" to complete your education. But fear comes from the unknown and I guess it can be compensated by faith...
Yes it d be very interesting if you blog on this topic!
Thank you for your thoughts and quotes, dear Serendipity! I am not an expert in theology, but I think it s all up to our choice. We humans are given the sacred right of choice which means that God trusts us. He trusts our ability to learn, in one way or another.
Non honestly I prefered not to check out the link till now since I prefered to discuss the topic in general. Now when I saw it, it s another example of madness and cruelty. Unfortunately, there is a lot of them in the world... I will not go further with discussing countries and religion since there are many vulnerable people here. To say the least.
