RE: ANCIENT ASTRONAUT THEORIES

Can I suggest if you'd like a reason to believe such things are possible you watch the US series Curse/Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, it's a documentary series about the findings of a group of privately funded scientists studying the ranch, which has a long history of odd events occurring there, it's currently on series 3 and for the life of me I can't see a logical explanation of what goes on there, no conclusion has yet been reached as to what exactly causes these events but they certainly defy currently understood science, I'm not a rocket scientist but fortunately they have one there, has worked for NASA etc, and he can't explain it either.....yet.

RE: Congress to hold 1st hearing on UFOs in over 50 years

I suspect we'll get more answers from this week's episode of "The secret of Skinwalker ranch" than we will from a hearing in congress wow

RE: Refurbished...

Hmmmmm, not sure about refurbished, we see quite a few refurbished bloggers here, whilst they may work well for a short time they tend to soon develop the same faults that made them fail the first (few) time (s) professor grin

RE: So tell me again how catching covid gives a victim natural immunity , I like to laugh

Well that's easy to answer, if such a pill existed everyone in the world would want to take it regularly dunno laugh

Equally said capitalists can even more rich by producing a pill that doesn't work, just on word of mouth that it might be effective doh

RE: Mysterious "HUT" seen on the moon.

That's the last time I tell Amazon they can leave my parcel at a neighbours if I'm not in doh laugh

RE: Blocking a fire hydrant with your BMW...

Absolute vandals very mad they obviously think BMW stands for Break My Windows doh

Riz, these BMW's you see jumping red lights don't have blue flashing lights on the roof by any change dunno

It should be written into law that BMW drivers have priority when it comes to parking and road junctions imo professor

In fairness I should declare a slight bias......being a BMW driver rolling on the floor laughing

Love to Jenny wink rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Fact not fiction.

I see Germany is about to lockdown all unvaccinated wow

RE: ICU is full of the unvaccinated – my patience with them is wearing thin, a respiratory Dr's view

The local press have published two reports of the local situation, links below, most here (over 90%) have been vaccinated, mask wearing in indoor public places is 100%, the town is the biggest in the area so the hospital gets all the bad cases, currently the hospital's ICU has one patient, 87% of the villages in the area have no cases, one village has a per hundred thousand rate of 300... it has one case, it's a small village laugh the rate for the town is 42.8 per 100k, prior to the vaccine the town hit almost 1000 cases per 100k, therefore imo the numbers speak for themselves.

RE: Quarter-mile mile speed record...

scold not even close to a world record, 2018 Rimac Nevera 8.6 secs.

RE: Happiness comes in many forms.

Like others on the blog I must say I'm disappointed to be so near the bottom of list sigh to that end......

Many here I'm sure remember as youngsters going into town shopping where you were almost certain to be accosted by a man with a sandwich board, "The End of the World is Nigh", (though the word Nigh was normally misspelt as they didn't have spell check back then) laugh was a favorite of theirs, dressed in a heavy grey coloured wool coat and rain dripping from a droopy hat, time was such people like that would normally eventually end up locked away in we used to call The Loonie Bin wow then care in community came along, so now they make their stand on the internet. Being of a rather precarious mental state they can't make on a political website so instead peddle their lies on dating site doh Still at least we should take some comfort from the fact they are warm and dry and not standing in the rain outside a supermarket thumbs up

There that should move me up the list, at least closer to Riz grin

RE: Happiness comes in many forms.

RE: Missing in action.

rolling on the floor laughing thumbs up

RE: Another Tunnel, A New Adventure

Red, most of the tunnels round here have a motorway running through them, you wouldn't want to cycle through them, we do have thousands of caves though, I have a feeling I have one under the garden, it's only a small hole but no matter how many times I fill it in the next time I look it's back.

RE: Another Tunnel, A New Adventure

Now do remember to take your puncture repair kit, I know some say the tyre is only flat at the bottom and you can resolve it by turning the wheel a little, but to me that's just kicking the can down the road, and that's likely to disturb your elderly neighbours, who will voice their opinion loudly, that in turn will upset Chesney, that anyone over the age of 30 should have an opinion to voice doh
Once there look out for bats, most tunnels have them and as the Chinese tell us bats are responsible for Covid, however it's probably safer cycling past a tunnel full of bats than the lab in Wuhan imo professor grin

RE: An unfamiliar term

Red/Tiger, I'm all about maximising profit potential so will be avoiding going through agents professor

RE: Windows 11

I've been using Linux Mint for about 8 years now, I've found it to be totally reliable, updates appear from time to time, you can select which ones you want, they won't download till you tell them to, they do so in the background without slowing the machine at all, and normally take about 30 seconds.
It's free and doesn't need security software, what's not to like.

Downsides, may not be suitable for people who use a particular (windows based) program, for that I keep an old machine running an old version of windows which I never use on the net. As mentioned above it's maintained by nerds who love to make things more complex than they need to be, so can take a few minutes search to find an easy solution for what you want it to do. From time to time you're offered a new kernel (heart of the system), the folder they're contained in is quite small, so the only maintenance you need to do is delete the old (unused) kernels before updating to a new one, it holds about 6 old ones so no chance of deleting something you actually need.

RE: Let's play a game, just for fun.

After having the vaccine my car failed it's annual test (ITV), I'm not sure if it was the vaccine that caused it or the fact the car has wifi, suppose it could either as both are a severe risk, or so I read here sigh

RE: N-Acetyl Cysteine & Severe COVID-19

RE: Reliance on technology is becoming a problem, we need to take a step back

Chesney, who would you trust to build this AI dunno
Bill Gates.... It would be so bloated the machine would be the size of New York and crash constantly doh
Google.... It would insist you read ALL the ads on social media wow sigh
China..... It would place cameras EVERYWHERE uh oh

So the AI is in place, if it's as inscrutable as you say it would expect everyone else be the same, that's half the members on CS gone, it's going to know if your profile is true rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine does not contain fetal cells, more lies from Project Veritas

MrBoDangles, no problem.
I haven't actually spoken to Molly since she was last here, but as I understand it she's fine beer

RE: Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine does not contain fetal cells, more lies from Project Veritas

MrBoDangles, I take it you're referring to me pointing out that "Pfizer is using aborted fetal tissue to produce the Vaccine" is neither true nor new? I can't see how pointing out that fact makes me "preciouses" (what ever that is), and the only connection I can see between Brexit and the vaccine is that the majority of Brits wanted both.

RE: Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine does not contain fetal cells, more lies from Project Veritas

Riz, I suppose the anti vaccine brigade should be congratulated for saving the planet, now they've started a campaign to recycle their BS professor rolling on the floor laughing

New Normal...Old Normal.

Riz, I had coffee with Biff earlier in the week and we were wondering what the situation was in the Philippines, presumably you'll wait for your op before returning?

New Normal...Old Normal.

As predicted last week my part of the region has now reached level zero, which ends all restrictions imposed by local/regional government, so now it's just masks indoors in public places and social distancing put in place by national government.
Yesterday I had to pop over to a friends house to collect a parcel, there are still people out there wearing a mask whilst driving their cars alone, I suppose they could be bank robbers on the way to work dunno rolling on the floor laughing

New Normal...Old Normal.

Chesney, and how with over 90% vaccination rates do you envisage the anti vaxxers getting into power? Or are you thinking all the vaccinated will die? If so what power do you think the anti's will have over anything, there'll be no civilization left to be in control of.

New Normal...Old Normal.

Pat, no still and kicking laugh
Hopefully if you get the vaccine in large enough numbers you could all escape getting it badly altogether?

New Normal...Old Normal.

Edison laugh yes it would appear reading some of the blogs as if a return to the dark ages would go down well with some sigh
