These lyrics have forever been in my memory since I first saw a stage production of South Pacific when I was very young. A "love" like Hammerstein penned is not impossible, just sometimes very elusive. However, I've used them as a "blueprint" in my search, and although I've been in many crowded social gatherings, I've never heard "him" laughing.
Very poignant, nostalgic quote from Mr. B. Sad that he is no longer with us, but we have thankfully inherited his thought-provoking literaria which will no doubt continue to enthrall many future generations thirsting for an insatiable taste of the forbidden but tempting unknown.
